Tonight we went to the Grand Opening Ceremony for Wyandotte's new Police/Court Building.
It's a great facility that should give fine service to our City for many years to come. I believe there is a public open house this Saturday where you can go through the building. It's state of the art in most respects and will be a much safer facility to operate. It's also set up to be a productive and congenial environment for the police staff and court employees.
Thanks are in order to the Citizens and their elected representatives who chose to fund and build this facility. It is a worthwhile project.
Go see it!
This is a heads up for two video production about the new Police/Court Building.
A crew of Cable Volunteers toured the new building and recorded that visit. This was done like the video of the old Police/Court Building. Richard Miller hosted it while Judge Randy Kalmback and Chief Dan Grant guided the crew through the building.
On Wyandotte Cable channel 16 a one hour production of the Court side is being played. We are editing the Police walk-through and will have it on next week.
It is a great structure and every citizen needs to be proud that they convinced the council to build this facility.
